The scale ticket

Gross − tare = net.

The landfill weighs the truck full and empty. The difference is your debris.

Example

20-yard, net 6,800 lb = 3.4 tons.

0.4 tons over × $75 = $30.

  • Size by weight for shingles, tile and plaster
